Cannabis will most likely be legalized

There has only been one poll taken of Measure 91, and it showed a small majority of polled voters supporting the measure. It is only one poll, and results could change, but there seems to be a lot of evidence for the fact that Oregon will pass cannabis legalization this year.

The three reasons for this are:

1. It came pretty close to passing in 2012.
2. The 2012 measure was very badly written, while the 2014 measure is well written.
3. Voters have had two years to see that, while there has been some problems, cannabis legalization seems to have worked in Washington and Colorado.

For all of these reasons, there seems to be a good chance that Measure 91 will pass in Oregon. I would guess around 75%.

Its kind of funny that this isn't even seen as a big thing in a lot of quarters. Marijuana is being legalized not with a bang, but with a whimper.
