Gotta pay my electric bill

So hey I was hoping there might be some suggestions here aside from what I've checked out already, but here's my situation:

I was unexpectedly unemployed last month after working for over two years in a job that didn't pay me enough to live. (Ok they paid enough for me to not be homeless but only just.) and then leaving it for a job with far better pay and overall conditions- and was told after a week that I wasn't needed after all, no warning no nothing. A month later I finally find out that my unemployment is likely going to be denied, possibly for voluntarily leaving the first job, but also for not accepting a job in a whole other field that I couldn't be reasonably certain I could get to on public transportation. But I won't find out for at least a few more weeks.

In the meantime, I start another job in a week and a half but won't get paid til July 1st. I've got help with rent for the month, but not my electric bill or cable (cable I could let go of for a few weeks but I have someone at home who uses the Internet connection trying to find a job, and trying to do that at the library is less than ideal.

So I'm trying to find a way to earn some extra cash in the next few days. I've been checking Craigslist gigs every few hours, nothing coming up lately that I'm able to do and I'm not getting responses on the ones I can.

Trying to use task rabbit but for the life of me can't find where one bids on jobs, there's no link or button anywhere and I've tried a couple of different browsers. Still limited there because I don't have a car or drivers license.

Planning to go in and apply at Labor Ready today, I've done that in another city before but it's not a guaranteed thing to get work on any given day.

Anyone have any suggestions or ideas? My skills that can be quickly used are mostly computer- related, I did tech support for Apple for years, so anything to so with macs, iPhones, iTunes, iPods. Basic unskilled labor (I particularly enjoy spackling walls), I dunno.

I'm open to suggestions.
