However, I'm having a bitch of a time actually doing this. I've been looking online for free stop motion programs for mac, but I'm hesitant to download something I won't find useful.
iMovie is a pain in my ass. I've read several places that this is a very useful tool to make these animations when you turn off the fucking Ken Burns effect. I've done this! But when I go to play everything it seems like it just stays on one picture for 5 seconds (I've set the time to 0.03 s) and zooms in a bunch of different ways.
I'm almost certain that I'm just being an idiot and forgetting to do something, because in theory it seems like iMovie would be perfect for this.
Can anyone help? Recommend software? Do something different in iMovie?
hello people against dirty,
recently, a certain manufacturer of bleach sent us a friendly note claiming that our use of any yellow daisy imagery is an infringement of their trademark. considering mother nature designed the daisy, not said bleach maker, we have a hunch she would object.
what do you think? should a corporation own the daisy? show your flower power at votedaisy.com, and vote the fate of our little yellow friend.

p.s. spread the word!

I'm sick, and I'm wondering where there's a local spot (preferably on the west side downtownish) where I can buy Traditional Chinese Medicine formulas. I'm specifically looking for a formula called Lapis 16. While I'm sure I could just find the herbs themselves, I have no knowledge of how to mix them to the needed percentages for the dosage. - So I need a place that sells already prepared TCM formulas, or maybe someone here knows TCM and can help me out with making the formula from scratch?
Now I need a new card.
Any advice? I am considering getting the Alaska Air card since $$=miles, I get 25K miles to start with (free ticket) and one $99 companion ticket once a year. Is that worth the $75/year cost of the card and 13% APR?
Anyone have any other ideas?
Thank you in advance =)
Somehow (though I have my suspicions including my boyfriend's love of sidereel on my laptop) my computer ended up with a virus. It seems like a pretty nasty one. AVG, Malwarebytes, and Spybot didn't detect anything, so I tried to install Avast and got the Blue Screen du Mort, and since then, any time I start the computer it goes directly to he Blue Screen. I can start things up in Safe Mode, but don't really know where to go from there.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good computer repair place? Or is there perhaps a DPer who's got the abilities and would like to make a few bucks?
Or should I give up, opt for arson, an get a new computer?
