OK, I know it's early, but I'm hella tired, and i don't think I'll make it 'til 9p or 10p, when this post typically starts up.

Post the funniest thing you heard all week.  For me, this week wasn't very funny, so I've got nuthin'.  Help a fellow DPer out, m'kay?

Need a job?

My second job is hiring for some work. I don't know all the details as they are still working out the new contract and they are filling a few other positions, but the work is REALLY easy. Keep in mind, I don't know any of you, so I cant recommend anyone. These people are pretty cool to work for, it's a good second job.

Pay depends on what you do. I do not do the valet work, but I do the driving and get paid anywhere from 9-12/hr. This does not include tips, which are common in both the driving and the valet section of the business.

As you can tell by the e-mail this is intended for friends and family. Since I consider you and extended friends group, here you are.

Here is the e-mail I got from my boss.

Hey Everyone!

As summer is rapidly approach with a busy month of May not far away, Premiere is planning on hiring 20/25 new employees this month. Before we pursue any applicants we wanted to open up application to anybody you know who you think would be a good fit for the Premiere team. So if you have any friends or relatives who you think would make great valets please don't hesitate to refer them to us in the next few weeks. Please direct new applicants to our website and to the employment tab where they can download and print an application. From there they can either fax it to our office or submit it personally.

As for all employees, new applicants must have a clean driving record. They must be able to present a valid drivers license and a second form of identification (i.e. a valid US Passport, Social Security Card, etc). Applicant must also be willing to obtain and submit a current driving record from the DMV.

Another MAX related death?

I heard people on the bus this morning talking about another person who was killed while crossing MAX tracks, but I haven't been able to find anything on the 'nets.

Anyone got anything to prove the old ladies ranting at each other this morning weren't just off their rockers?
