looking for some inspiration

So I'm working on a project for one of my design classes. And I have to do a multi-panel story-board type of thing. One of the things I am using for inspiration is A Softer World. I really like this comic, but I need more than one. (plus it good to look at other sources for research)

I am specifically looking for 'web-comics' that are photo based. But a Softer World is the only one that I know. So I turn to you.

Do you guys know of any other photo-based comic type sites that I can look to? Thanks!!!

Autoshow LOVE!

It's the time of year again (YAY!) for the Portland International Auto Show and I have free tickets!

I will be at the Auto Show almost the entire time, so if you would like one or two of those tickets (lets keep it down to 2 tickets per family so there will be enough to go around) just call me at 503-752-5687 or email me at subarushawn@gmail.com or DM me on twitter and I will be happy to meet up with you for those tickets.

I also have Subaru Swag, and other goodies and a raffle as well, so don't forget to ask for SubaruShawn at the Subaru display.

Much love,
Subaru Shawn Leafdahl

Where to find TV downtown or Inner SE?

Ok, so I know it's a strange question. But, I have an assignment for one of my classes where we're supposed to evaluate television commercials based on a particular criteria that we're studying. The only problem is that I don't own a television and the computer that I'm currently using at home is far too old to handle modern web 2.0 stuff like hulu & you tube.

It seems like I've seen them practically everywhere when dining out. But, since I typically try to block that kind-of stuff out I can't think of any place right now. Any recommendations downtown or inner SE.... Hawthorne / Belmont / Division corridor?

Edit: I figured it out. Thanks!

Laundromat in SE

The washer in my home recently broke & I've since discovered that the nearby laundromat at SE 28th and Belmont just closed up shop. A friend referred me to another laundromat at 48th & Belmont. But, that place turned out to be pretty skeezy. Half of the machines in there were in various stages of disrepair. I lost money & ran out of soap before I got all of my laundry done.

Does anyone know of a decent laundromat in the vicinity? Better yet if it has a TV (see previous post).
