So, I finally decided on a phone and picked up a 3gs.

What are some must have apps?

I have the usual social networking apps minus twitter . I also have Pandora. What else am I missing?

And are there any cool Oregon/Portland friendly applications?

Wold rather someone on DP...

I have a Mic and I don't need it anymore. It's a Blue Mic Snoball. It's in perfect condition, has all the original stuff except the USB cord. Which are cheap and can be found anywhere.

I paid $100 for it but I know it would be unfair to charge that amount. I'm thinking somewhere between $50-$75?

I wanted to let DP have this before I went to Craigslist.

If anyone is interested, let me know!

Dear DP - Can you please recommend some of your favorite places to camp?

I have a friend visiting next month and we would like to get out of town for the weekend.

We are flexible, either towards the mountains or towards the ocean. Either campground or renegade.

Bonuses: swimming water; waterfall hiking

Thanks bunches!

Where would one find Gluten Free wonton/potsticker wrappers? I thought I saw them at Trader Joes, but they don't have any. And neither does New Seasons. I'd like to make some chicken wontons for a friend who has been craving them for a year.
Do they even exist? I swear I saw some, they were made with rice flour so they were like flat little mochi.

Is it legal to have an open container in a vehicle in Oregon? If not, how do limos get away with it? Because of the barrier between driver and consumer? Does this mean I can sit in the back of a pickup truck with my shirt off getting plastered on whiskey?

Japanese futon

Where can I get a Japanese-style futon in Portland? Organic would be great, but I know that might be pushing it.

In case you're wondering, the difference is that a Japanese-style futon goes directly on the floor and is folded up and stowed during the day. The convertible couch/frame business is a Western invention and is too bulky/immobile to be suitable for my needs.

U-pick blueberries

Anybody have a u-pick blueberry place that they really just adore? I have a whole list of them from online, but have no way of knowing whether they're any good or not.

My ideal place would have several varieties of berries so that I can choose which ones I think are the tastiest.

Any fabulous suggestions?

skinny dippin'

hey dudes.

i have a hankering for a midnight swim in the buff within biking distance of downtown. i'd rather not do it in a sewageriver, and i'd rather not get busted for trespassing. note that i do not specify that i mind jumping fences to find the location, i just don't want to get caught. so, the pool behind the police precinct building is out. but your apartment complex might be in =)

oh, and it'd be nice if it wasn't full of 200 other fools, leastwise at midnight. i'm fool enough for any pool.

Thinking of buying a new iPod?

So, because I'm a student, Apple decided to throw a free iPod at me when I bought a laptop. I already have an 80 gig iPod. So...I've got a black 120GB iPod classic, still in shrinkwrap, that I'd like to convert into cash to help pay for said laptop. It's normally $249, and like I said, it's still in it's original shrinkwrap. $220?
