My boy and I are headed to Puerto Vallarta on November 14th and will be returning on the 21st. Last year when we went, we went with his entire family, so we spent alot of time doing family friendly activities and just walking around town. This time we're going just the two of us, so we're looking for more adult activities. Any recommendations? Any places or attractions to avoid? We did El Eden last year (where they filmed the Predator) and that was pretty much terrible, so we'd like to avoid things like that. Also bonus points if the activities are free or fairly inexpensive since we are going on a budget.
I ask you because I like you and you know things.
Edited: It looks like it's found a home! Thanks!
Why don't they have a 1 zone fare on Tri-Met? I only go from 12th & Pine to Lloyd Center. I don't like how it costs me $2 each time. STUPID!
What's the most beautiful indoor wedding location you've been to in the Portland area? Specifically the reception site. Indoor is crucial!
Question about Goodfoot Pub:
How much do shows usually cost? I see that Fridays have a $4 cover but nowhere on the site does it actually say how much tickets are to shows. There are a bunch of shows I'm interested in, but I can't tell (yet) whether or not I can afford it!
Clearly I am an idiot and a Luddite.
So, which haunted house is the best this year? Jantzen beach? Memorial Coliseum? What happened to the one at Oaks Park? That was incredible a few years back..
Looking for scary here folks. Please & Thanks.
Where is the best place to go for a haircut in the $20-30 range? I've heard Bishops is good, but they have a bunch of different locations and I don't know which is best. Anywhere centrally located is fair game.
Anyone out there have any upholstery foam that you don't want/need? I'm looking to make a last-minute, but kickass costume this year, and I want to shape the mask with foam, and then paper-mache it from there. Any boxes of paper clay that you don't want, would be awesome too :D thanks.
I'm sure it's been asked before but here goes:
What are some rad/good/ok companies to work for in Portland? Especially ones that do not drug test, but not ruling it out.
In the realm of retail or office, light production/warehouse stuff. I have no college degree, if that gives you a better idea of my limits ;D I'd even do housecleaning if most housecleaning companies didn't totally blow.
Thanks in advance.
Hi. I need a shit ton of brown butcher paper. Now that is more than an ass load, but just shy of a fuck ton. I am decorating the department at my work and I need a bunch of brown butcher paper to make spooooooky twisted tree's out of. If not butcher paper, then maybe someone has a mass of brown paper bags taking over their garage/bag holding area? If anyone has an idea of where I can get either, let me know!
Oh... the days back in kindergarden when there was just rolls of the stuff! It seemed endless!
