For a pretty clear understanding of Sen Wyden's position and bill proposal for health care reform, I would highly recommend reading his post here.

We've been in the market for a new place to take our dog when we go on trips. Anyhow, I just got back from dropping our dog off there and I have to tell you, I'm really impressed! They were SO helpful and SO nice I have complete faith that Dingo will have a great time. In fact, I went in to check on him a few hours after I dropped him off and he looked like he was having quite a nice time!
Thanks for the tip!
Hello. Does anyone know anything about working at the Nike headquarters in Beaverton? Specifically, the legal department?
As you can see by my userpic, I have a Siberian Husky. Some people aren't aware of the disposition or reputation of Siberian Huskies...they're not protective or territorial, they're overly friendly and don't bite people. I come across people every day that walk 10 feet around me on the sidewalk when I'm walking him. Do you guys ever encounter behavior that surprises you in reaction to your pups?
Any pics you have would be great!

2. Free scoop day at Ben & Jerry's ice cream stores next Tuesday!
3. Breathtaking view of the downtown and eastside skylines at night, as seen from the Portland Aerial Tram.
4. The comfort of knowing that I can find Vosges gourmet chocolates at fine Portland shops, such as Foster and Dobbs, and Cacao.
5. While in New York City earlier this week, discovering that the yummy, Portland-based Moonstruck Chocolate packages are being sold at the newly-opened Whole Foods Market in the Lower East Side! Portland represent!
I'm looking for someone who'd like to make some cash this summer hanging out with two lovely little children. My kids are 7 and 10, and as you can see, friendly and loveable.

I'd need someone to watch them two days a week at least, maybe three some weeks. I would realllllllly like to find someone who has a car and can take them places. If we're a good match, I'm sure I could find some work for you before summer break. I also have a friend with two kids who needs babysitting from time to time.
I found last summer's babysitter in DP and she worked out great. The kids loved her. She moved partway through the summer, which sucked for us but was good for her, so if you're planning on relocating mid-summer let me know NOW. :)
More details are available upon request. If you're interested, let me know and I'll hit ya with my email address.
Disposable piping/icing bags is probably the best description i can give. Usually used for cake or pastry.
Where can i pick these up locally? Some tips and a changer-thing would be nice too.
I thought it would be interesting to hear the varied answers from DP'ers.
Or... did you write one to some one?
