"What do you want from me?"

natural camphor

Does anyone know of any places that sell natural camphor?  I need it to make Fitzroy's Storm Glass.  I could use synthesized camphor, but according to the instructions, natural would work better, and I'd rather find it locally than buy it online.

EDIT: I should also mention, I'm looking for crystals, not the essential oil.

who's your favorite, baby?

double penetrators damn portlanders, i am seeking a few recommendations. who/what are your preferred:
-waxers? [i've been to wax on twice, and i find their wax to be a skosh too hot.]
-multivitamins? [i'm looking for something pharmaceutical grade, but not too wallet destroying.]
-hair care professionals? [i'm looking for someone who is more than passingly familiar with unprocessed black people hair.]
-gyms/yoga studios? [i like elliptical machines and ashtanga; price is a factor.]
-brands of pelmeni?
-writers' groups? [i focus on non-fiction; i don't like pushy, overly pretentious Writers.]
-podiatrists? [i'm archless and in the market for custom insoles.]

David Hunt, acoustic guitarist at Ava Roasteria TONIGHT

If you enjoy listening to beautifully-crafter acoustic guitar music, and original songs written in contemporary folk style (think David Wilcox, James Taylor) then you'll want to be at the AVA ROASTERIA CAFE tonight.

Time: 8pm - 11pm
Free - no tickets!

Venue Address:
Ava Roasteria
4655 SW Hall (SW 2nd and SW Hall Blvd)
Google Mapped

They serve coffee, tea, pastries and great sandwiches.

To listen to some of David Hunt's music - try http://www.myspace.com/davidhuntmusic

He's performed all over the country and elsewhere including Israel, Russia, Malaysia and China.
Was part of the Voices of Baha choir which performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall and Mozart KoncertHaus. Has released two albums in the past couple of years - both of which will be available for sale tonight.

Bring your friends!
No No

(no subject)

Last night my girlfriend came home, rushed up to where I was standing and said,
"Take off my dress."
So I did. Then she said,
"Take off my bra and panties."
So I did. Then she said,
"Stop wearing my clothes."

Have a good Friday.

Digital Camera

Ok I know you people can help me out with this..
I'm looking in to getting a new digital camera.
thow I don't know where to start.

I know some of the options i would like to have.
manual focus,
RAW support,
SD card,
a exposure time of at least 10 sec,
slim profile (like no more then 1.5" when off),
large LCD.

Relay I'm just looking for this but with manual focus and a exposure time of at least 10 sec + RAW.
any one know if something like this is out there?

Thanks
-Anthony

Drainage? What drainage

So I'm looking for a kick-ass residential plumber recommendation. Instead of going to wherever it's been going all these years, the drainage water in my house would rather stay in the basement. I don't know why, so I've got to find someone who can.

Any great plumbers work on sudden problems in your house?

Muchas Gracias!

OMG COYOTES

As a point of reference, I live somewhat near the Alpenrose Dairy in the suburbs of SW.  The past couple of Friday nights when I have been driving home from work, I have seen the same pair of coyotes running around my neighborhood.  My concern isn't for my pets or anything (all mine are inside-only) but I am worried that they will get hit by cars or shot by some jerk.  I tried calling the non-emergency number to get information on the best agency to call in order to remove/relocate them, but the lady basically told me there was nothing to be done.  Any damnportlanders know anything different or have any suggestions as to an agency or organization who can help them?
Thanks!
