Either yesterday or thursday the Oregonian reviewed a breakfast place, I think on Alberta. The article had a picture of eggs benedict next to it.

has anyone done the hwy 101 tour before? im thinking from seattle to los angeles the end of summer by myself. also, tips on buying a touring bike, or just touring in general.
I'm in one of those moods where I don't feel social at all but I do want to be in the general vicinity of other living, breathing humans. Sort of a 'curl up with a book or my laptop in a public space' kinda thing.
I've got a pretty good sense of where there's wifi and coffee and all that, but I'm curious -- do any of you have a real favorite place to be alone while surrounded by people? I'd love a recommendation. Coffee, bar, cafe, bookshop... doesn't matter. I'm open to all of it.
I live in inner NE, but I'm not particularly attached to staying in my neighborhood.
My AP Environmental Science class was told to go see Children of Men, and since it opened yesterday, I was wondering who went and saw it?
Personally, I loved the film. It was really well done, and overall a very sad film.
