(no subject)

Either yesterday or thursday the Oregonian reviewed a breakfast place, I think on Alberta. The article had a picture of eggs benedict next to it.

I want eggs benedict and that looked good, and I threw away the paper, help.

Quiet in noise?

I'm in one of those moods where I don't feel social at all but I do want to be in the general vicinity of other living, breathing humans. Sort of a 'curl up with a book or my laptop in a public space' kinda thing.

I've got a pretty good sense of where there's wifi and coffee and all that, but I'm curious -- do any of you have a real favorite place to be alone while surrounded by people? I'd love a recommendation. Coffee, bar, cafe, bookshop... doesn't matter. I'm open to all of it.

I live in inner NE, but I'm not particularly attached to staying in my neighborhood.

Children of Men

My AP Environmental Science class was told to go see Children of Men, and since it opened yesterday, I was wondering who went and saw it?

Personally, I loved the film. It was really well done, and overall a very sad film.

What do others think of it?

If you haven't seen it yet, are you considering seeing it?

Ayudame, porfavor!

I'm trying to find a website that has a wide selection of organic gauged jewelry. Know of any?

And if not, know of any shops around Portland that do? Downtown/Sellwood/Hawthorn areas prefered. Limited transportation.
