Hi, I'm looking to take my 12-year-old Little Sister to a pumpkin patch this month, and I would like to find a place with activities that would be of interest to her. Good hay mazes, corn mazes, etc. Hay rides. She loves face painting. Caramel apples would be a big plus. And, of course, pumpkins.
Last year I took her to Plumper Pumpkins, and it's a very nice place, but most of the activities (tiny hay maze, pony rides) are geared toward little kids.
The Haunted Maize at Sauvie Island would probably be too scary for her (she's easily spooked.)
So some place that's in between. Not too kiddie, not too spooky. Any recommendations?
(Oh, and it needs to be less than an hours' drive from Portland, as I don't get a whole lot of time with her.)
